This is a very nice design in Japan, sited on a privileged spot that allows the architects to create a place within a place, bringing the outside in towards the views.

The second image looks a bit odd but from the overall shot of the hill, you get a sense of what they have achieved.

The building structure is completely built around the closed side of the house leaving the open side to sit in perfect cantilever with no columns to ruin the panoramic views.
