_project Name: The Veil Commercial Tower

_location: Dubai, UAE

_brief: A G+60 tower which responded to its site.

_considerations: Situated on the edge of the city, the structure needed to harness its natural and man-made vistas

_response: The building responds with a completely different level of openness on each side. Like wearing a veil, it is open to the city centre on one side and more closed to the desert on the opposite side - an advantage when considering reductions in carbon emissions when cooling the building. Completion for 2012.
