_project name: Hyderabad Modern Residences
_location: Hyderabad, India
_brief: To create 5 star residences for the new computer industry upper class and the local movie industry executives. Hyderabad is home to the world’s largest movie studio.
_considerations: The project is to become one of the first environmentally sensitive projects in this region of India, Andhra Pradesh. Vashtu building principles were fundamental to the layout of the buildings and guided all functional plan decisions.
_response: : The ability to adapt the interiors for different apartment sizes while shading the building exterior skin from the extreme temperatures led us to the undulating floor plate design. The elevation reflects this changing function of the individual floors. We have created vertical spaces interacting with individual units.
