_project Name: Ice Bar
_location: Benalmádena, Spain
_brief: Create a bar with a difference…out of ice…in Spain!
_considerations: Need we say - building with ice, maintaining -10ºC temperatures inside, when it hits 40 ºC outside.
_response: Giant blocks of ice are 'cemented' together using water, which when congealed into ice forms a good strengthener. Ice has been chiseled to form blocks and other shapes incorporated into the bar. Even glasses have been made of ice.
